Why the liver
The body’s metabolic hub.
The liver performs hundreds of functions that touch nearly every aspect of metabolic health.
The liver helps process nutrients, store energy and regulate many essential functions. It also interacts with the gut through complex biological pathways that researchers continue to study.
LIVERBIOME™ is being developed around this area of interest. We will distinguish emerging scientific hypotheses from findings established in humans, and assess any eventual product claims against evidence relevant to the finished formulation.
The rationale for researching a biological pathway is not proof that a finished product will produce a particular outcome.
